Remember me when flowers bloom
Early in the spring
Remember me on sunny days
In the fun that summer brings
Remember me in the fall
As you walk through the leaves of gold
And in the wintertime- remember me
In the stories that are told
But most of all remember
Each day- right from the start
I will be forever near
For I live within your heartJudith K Bulock
This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Jacob Hetke who was born in Wisconsin on March 9, 1990 and passed away on September 12, 2010. You will live forever in our memories and hearts. Jacob was a wonderful young man with a heart of gold! His death was a tragedy to many but most importantly to his Mom, Dad and Brother.
In this picture is:
In the front is Jakes Mom and Dad, Bette and Scott and in the back is Jakes brother Cody and Jake standing next to him.
Jakes family meant everything to him! He loved to have everyone together having a good time!

Jake loved football so much that his mom put this shadow box together in memory of Jacob. With his graduation items and his football jersey along with some pictures of him in his jersey. Football was one of Jakes passions. He loved to play and study football. He knew just about everything there was to know about it. He was a fantasy football nut also. He enjoyed all the guys getting together to play!

Jakes Uncle Geoff got this tattoo of Jakes football jersey put on his ribs in memory of Jake. The funny part about this, the reason it is on Geoffs ribs is because at Jakes graduation party Geoff got cocky with Jake then Jake took Geoff down to the ground and broke Geoffs ribs. Talk about having a story behind a tattoo.

In the words of Jake "BALLIN"

Jake was amazing with children. He left an everlasting impression on every child he came in contact with. Some knew him better than others but they all thought the world of him. One of the things he loved to do in High School was go to the Elementary School and help the younger children.

Jake liked the rain. But he LOVED the snow!! He would get so pumped when it snowed and then pray for more. That way he could get on his baby... His snowmobile. He loved to have everyone together going down the trails. Spending time with his family and friends meant everything to him!

This poem was written for Jakes Mom and Dad...
Somewhere in your dreams tonight
You will see me standing there
I will look at you with a smile
and say "Life isn't always fair"
I know you are thinking...
"I had so much life to live"
But God needed me as an angel
your son, one you did not want to give
I see your tears and pain
But please don't cry no more
One day you will walk into heavens gate
And I will greet you at the door
I may be gone but we are not far apart
Memories I left behind with you
will stay forever in my heart
Now it's time to say "Good-bye"
With a tear in my eye
Just know that my love for you
WILL NEVER DIE!!!

Here is that tattoo that Scott (Jakes Dad) had done in memory of his son. The picture doesnt really show how amazing it really is.

Forever in Our Hearts
A million times we needed you,
A million times we cried,
If love alone would have saved you,
You would of never died.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still,
In our hearts you hold a place,
No one can ever fill.
A light form our household is gone,
A voice from our love is stilled,
A place in our vacant home,
Which never can be filled.
Some may think you are forgotten,
Though on earth you are no more,
But in our memory you are with us,
As you always were before.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
A part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Your precious memories are for keepsakes,
With which we never part,
God has you safely in his keeping,
But we have you forever in our hearts.

To my dearest family, some things I’d like to say, But first of all to let you know that I arrived okay. I’m writing this from Heaven, where I dwell with God above, Where there are no tears or sadness, there is just eternal Love.
Please do not be unhappy, just because I’m out of sight, Remember that I’m with you, every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you, when my life on earth wa...s through, God picked me up and hugged me, and said, ” I welcome you”.
“It’s good to have you back again. You were missed while you were gone. As for your dearest family, they’ll be here later on. I need you here so badly as part of my big plan. There’s so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man”.
Then God gave me a list of things he wished for me to do. And foremost on that list of mine, is to watch and care for you. I will be beside you, every day of the week and year, And when you’re sad I’m standing there, to wipe away the tear.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day’s chores put to flight, God and I are closest to you in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on Earth, and all those loving years, Because you’re only human, there’s bound to be some tears.
One thing is for certain, though my life on Earth is over, I am closer to you now than I ever was before. And to my many friends, trust God knows what is best. I am not far away from you, I’m just beyond the crest.
There are rocky roads ahead for you and many hills to climb, Together we can do it, taking one day at a time. It was my philosophy and please I’d like for you, To give unto the world, so the world will give to you.
If you can help someone who’s in sorrow or in pain, Then you can say to God at night, my day was not in vain. And now I am contented that my life it was worthwhile, Knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
When you’re walking down the street and I am on your mind, I’m walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind. And when you feel a gentle breeze of wind upon your face, That’s me giving you a great big hug, or just a s oft embrace.
When it’s time for you to go from that body to be free, Remember you are not going, you are coming home to me. I will always love you, from that place way up above, I will be in touch again soon. P.S. God sends his love.

This picture was beautifully edited. Thank you Kathy!!
